Tactical Handgun

This course is designed for those who would like to learn proper and safe handling of a semi-automatic pistol such as a Glock. Tactical Handgun Course is open for those without any previous experience in weapon handling and for those who have some experience but would like to learn how to handle a pistol in a dynamic environment. We'll start from the very fundamentals which are the core of all advanced techniques and tactics that our students will learn in due time.  

Tactical Handgun for Beginners schedule:

•   We'll start with the briefing about the course and course introduction. 

•  We'll discuss first and explain how semi-automatic handguns work and how to operate them. 

•  We'll teach you all the marksmanship fundamentals such as stable stance, solid grip, proper trigger manipulation, sight alignment, sight picture, and follow-through procedure.  

• You'll learn about safe weapon handling. We'll explain safety rules, muzzle discipline, and trigger finger management

• You'll learn how to shoot accurately, by good trigger manipulation. We'll fix the anticipation of recoil if needed. 

• You'll learn how to perform fast Double-tap and multiple shots with good accuracy and weapon control. 

• We'll show you details of high and low-ready positions for a handgun. You'll practise both. 

• You'll learn Tactical and Slide Lock Relock Magazine changes. We'll show you multiple options, so you can choose the one which works best for you. 

• You'll shoot Failure Drill (Mozambique). 

• We'll teach you how to shoot from a kneeling position showing you different variations to suit your needs, flexibility, and existing injuries.  

• You'll be shooting from different distances from 3m to 25m from various positions. 

• We'll teach you how to shoot on the move keeping your handgun stable for good accuracy. 

• You'll learn how to use cover and concealment. We'll show you the proper distance, position, and angle from both standing and kneeling positions. 

• You'll be shooting multiple targets and we'll teach you how to make a FAST transition between them. 

• At the end of the course, you'll perform summary drills that will combine all the learned skills. 

•  De-briefing and certification.

Weapons/Ammunition/gear

WEAPONS: GLOCK 17, GLOCK19

AMMUNITION: 9mm – 300 rounds

SKILL PERQUISITES: NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED

gear: Tactical Belt 40 mil wide. Clothing appropriate for climate and conditions.

Recommended Flights and Airport.

 

Airport Pick up time in Poland will be at Wroclaw Airport.

Your destination airport is WROCLAW - Poland. You should arrive one day before the course starts. We'll drop you at the airport around 18.00 on the last day of the course. If your flight is the next day in the morning you should arrange accommodation in WROCLAW - we'll drop you there.

If your return flight is earlier than 18.00 we'll help you to get to the airport so that you won't miss the flight. 

If you are flying from the uk we recommend the following airlines: WIZZAIR and RYANAIR. Both airlines fly to WROCLAW from major uk Airports. You can also look for an alternative. If you are flying from another country please check your flight details and be ready for a pick up around 18.00 from Wroclaw Airport one day before the course starts. (Pick-up times vary and it may be up to 18.00 - depending on the landing time of the other participants - we'll inform you by email. If you land after 18.00 then you need to organize your own transport to the Hotel - you may hire a car or take a taxi, or train)

If your flight arrive early and you do not want to wait for the late pick up you can use the train to get to Luban Slaski from Wroclaw main train station and check in to the hotel early. The trip takes 2 hours and costs about 7EURO. There is a direct bus from Wroclaw Airport to the MAIN TRAIN STATION in WROCLAW and it costs around 2 EURO.

This is a recommended solution and it's used often by our students who arrive early in the morning in Wroclaw.
