Self Defence and Firearms
BZ Academy International offers courses which combined self-defence techniques and tactic in Close Quarter Combat (CQC) environment with the use of firearms and empty-handed skills. This particular set of skills is crucial for every armed citizen, civilians who take self-defence seriously and Law Enforcement and Military units.
Concealed Carry Course is open to all those who would like to learn and practise the use of a handgun from a concealed position. In Europe, this is the only way to carry firearms whether you are a close protection Officer, Sports Shooter or you carry your firearms for self-defence purposes. In this course, we'll teach you about all the aspects of carrying your firearms not limited only to the technical part, but also we'll cover the legal side of it. You'll learn how to set up yourself for concealed carry, and how to draw your firearms from a concealed position whether it's an appendix or side carry plus we'll do countless drills to make your response fast, accurate, and effective. You must have completed Tactical handgun, or CFC Fundamentals to attend. Check course content for clarification.

Combined Firearms - Skill Builder is the next step you should take after Combined Firearms Fundamentals. In this course, you will sharpen your Pistol and chosen Rifle skills under the guidance of BZ Academy Instructors. We will focus on your accuracy, make your reactions and weapon manipulation smoother, and make you a more efficient shooter. This course is more dynamic than CFC Fundamentals, and there will be a lot of practice with different shooting positions, and shooting on the move. You can attend Combined Firearms Skill Builder many times, and you will always learn something new, revise your current knowledge, and improve your shooting skills. You may choose your rifle platform between AR15 and AK47. Minimum Requirements: CFC Fundamentals, Tactical Pistol, and Rifle, or equivalent. Participants must be able to manipulate firearms safely and know the mechanics, and manual of the chosen rifle. We will perform a shooting test at the beginning. KMUE CQB Rifle is designed to prepare civilians and Law Enforcement professionals on how to respond to an active shooter event. We'll cover how to defend against the aggressor armed with an assault rifle and we'll teach you how to use it in a Close Quarter Battle environment. You'll learn the theory about active shooter attacks during the PowerPoint presentation where we'll show how the human body responds to a stressful situation and how to overcome this reaction to make the most successful life-saving decisions. We'll talk through AVOID - DENY - DEFEND procedures and put them together with real-life active shooter scenarios. Participants will learn how to operate in a CQB environment, how to make an ambush and how to disarm the attacker. On the shooting range, we'll explain and teach you how to operate a rifle from a fundamental level up to be able to fix the malfunctions and bring it to working condition. The course will finish with full Active Shooter Multiple Scenarios with the use of FX Simunition.
