Getting from the uk to our Training facility in Poland is very easy.

Below are some flights connections you may look into to book your flight.

Main Destination Airport is POZNAN LAWICA AIRPORT in Poland

 

Collection from airport takes place usually between 18.00 - 19.00 and this transfer is FREE of charge. If you need to be collected at different hour additional charges of 50 EURO / Trip may apply. The same applies to drop off service which is usually around 8.00 - 9.00 am. However we always try to be flexible as much as we can .

You need to book a flight a day before the course starts and it's shown in the schedule. Please also book return flight a day after the course finishes.

For example if there is a Training Course which starts 10th Jan and finishes 17th Jan you should book your flights on 9th Jan to Poland and 18th Jan to uk or other country you are traveling to.

Accommodation and meals are included for extra 2 nights at the European Security Academy's facility.

You'll be collected from the Poznan Airport or Poznan Train Station (Poznan Glowny) by ESA team and driven to their facility.

TIPS and ADVICE !

• Flight Ticket Price Varies from £30 to £150 return and it depends how soon you book the flight and when the flights take place.

• Statistic shows that the best time to book your flight is 46 Days before the flight as airlines have the lowest prices by then.

• If you are going for the short 3 Days course Large Cabin bag is probably what you need unless you want to bring more clothing and your own equipment.

• Do not exchange money for PLN (Polish Zloty) in the uk as the rate is not very good here. You'll have easy access to cash points in Poland and your uk card will work fine. Anyway there will be no a much need for having PLN as all meals are included and location of the training center is on separated area without an access to shopping centers. There will be possibility to go to the shop at the evenings if you need anything. Most places in Poland accept Debit/Credit Cards anyway.

• You can drive your car to the uk airport and leave the car at one of the airport car parks which is not expensive and at Luton Airport (Train Station Car Park) is cost £36/week if prepaid.

• Flights from uk to Poland take usually about 1.5 - 2 Hours, so it's like a train from Birmingham to London.

• Make sure you have your TRAVEL INSURANCE in Place !!! If you are uk/EU resident please make sure you have your EHIC Card present in case you need medical attention in Poland. Otherwise your treatment may be expensive and you have to pay for it from your own pocket. You can apply for your EHIC Card HERE - it takes only 3min to complete the application form and can save you lot's of trouble. Card should arrive within 10 days.

Alternative flights :

You may also try to flight to Wraclaw in Poland and take a train from Wroclaw Main Train Station to Poznan Train Station.

1.  Book a flight fro uk to Wroclaw Poland. You can use Ryanair, Wizzair or any other major airliner .

2.  Take a Taxi from Wroclaw Airport to Wroclaw Main Train Station (Wroclaw Glowny). Cost about 50PLN (9GBP)

3.  Take a Train From Wroclaw (Wroclaw Glowny)  to Poznan(Poznan Glowny). Timetable is HERE . Ticket price about £10 . 2.5 hour journey.

4.  You'll be collected from Poznan Train Station (Poznan Glowny) by ESA crew.
