Overview
The Rifle Instructor Course is a 5-day advanced instructor development programme designed for experienced rifle shooters who want to learn how to teach rifle skills safely, professionally and effectively.
This course is not for beginners. It is built around rifle teaching methodology, range safety, group control, lesson structure, live-fire coaching, student assessment and the ability to run structured rifle training under supervision.
You will work with AR-15 rifles and Glock pistols for transition work, develop your ability to demonstrate key rifle drills, correct student errors and manage students safely on the firing line.

Before You Book
The Rifle Instructor Course is a structured 5-day instructor development programme for experienced rifle shooters who want to learn how to teach rifle skills safely, manage students and deliver professional firearms training.
The course is delivered in English and includes firearms, ammunition, safety equipment, rifle instructor manual, training, certification, accommodation, meals and full logistics support as part of the all-inclusive package.
This is not a beginner course. Students should already have solid rifle handling skills proven by previous professional training at BZ Academy or another reputable training facility.

We organise your local training logistics in Poland, including airport pickup, hotel transfers, range transport and airport drop-off after the course.
ARRIVE ONE DAY BEFORE
We recommend arriving one day before the course begins, so you can check in, rest and be ready for training the next morning.
AIRPORT PICKUP
Standard pickup from Wrocław Airport is organised at around 19:00. If most students arrive earlier, we may arrange an earlier pickup and confirm it by email.
LATE ARRIVAL SUPPORT
If you arrive after the organised pickup time, you will need to travel to the hotel at your own cost. We can recommend a trusted driver at a fair price.
RETURN FLIGHT AFTER 19:00
Training usually finishes around 16:00 on the final day. The drive to Wrocław Airport takes around 1.5 to 2 hours, so book your return flight no earlier than 19:00.

Before Joining
This is an instructor development course, not a beginner rifle course. You should already be a safe, competent rifle shooter before attending.
01 Is this course suitable for beginners?
No. The Rifle Instructor Course is not a beginner course. It is designed for experienced rifle shooters who already have safe rifle handling skills and want to learn how to teach rifle skills professionally.
02 What experience do I need before attending?
You should already have good rifle handling skills proven by attendance at professional firearms courses, either at BZ Academy or another reputable training facility.
The course is open to experienced rifle shooters. It is not for beginners. If you are unsure whether your experience is suitable, contact us before booking.
03 How long is the course?
The course runs for 5 training days. Training includes classroom work, live-fire rifle sessions, student teach-backs, range management, instructor methodology, written assessment and practical instructor evaluation.
04 What firearms are used during the course?
Firearms are provided by BZ Academy. The course is based around AR-15 rifles, with Glock pistols used for rifle-to-pistol transition work.
05 How much ammunition is included?
The course includes approximately 1200 rounds of .223 ammunition and 100 rounds of 9 mm ammunition. The final number of rounds may depend on the group level, progress, safety and course flow.
06 What tests do I need to pass?
Candidates are assessed through three key tests: one rifle shooting test, one theory multiple-choice test and one teaching test. These assessments confirm safety, technical knowledge, communication and instructor ability.
07 Do I receive an instructor patch and certificate?
The BZ Academy Rifle Instructor Patch and BZ Academy International Certificate are awarded upon positive completion of the course and successful completion of the required standards.
To receive the instructor patch, you need to pass the shooting test. If you do not pass the required tests or do not meet the minimum instructor standard, you may receive a participation diploma instead.
08 What happens if I do not pass the tests?
If you do not pass the required assessments or do not meet minimum instructor requirements, you will not receive full instructor certification. Depending on your performance, you may receive a participation diploma instead.
09 What is included in the all-inclusive package?
The package includes English-speaking customer care, professional instruction, accommodation, full board, airport pickup and drop-off at specific times, hotel-to-range transport, firearms, ammunition, training equipment, safety equipment, rifle instructor manual, BZ Academy patch and certification.
10 Are flights included?
No. Flights are not included. Students should book their own travel to Wrocław Airport, Poland. BZ Academy organises airport pickup and transport according to the course logistics schedule.
11 When should I arrive in Poland?
You should plan to arrive one day before the course starts. Accommodation is booked from the day before the course. Airport pickup is arranged based on participant arrival times, with the latest group pickup usually around 18:00 from Wrocław Airport.
12 What if my flight arrives after pickup time?
If your flight lands after the organised pickup time, you will need to arrange your own transport to the hotel, for example by rental car, taxi or train. We can help with practical advice and local options.
13 What should I bring?
Bring clothing suitable for the weather and outdoor range work. A tactical belt around 40 mm wide is recommended. BZ Academy provides firearms, training equipment, safety equipment and required course materials.
14 Who runs this course?
The course is delivered by experienced BZ Academy instructors. This course is run by a SIG SAUER Academy USA certified instructor.
