INSTRUCTOR DEVELOPMENT COURSE FLOW
A flexible three-day annual development programme for BZ Academy instructors. The content evolves each year to reflect new knowledge, updated methods and the experience of the instructors attending.

There is no fixed syllabus. Each Instructor Development is adapted to the group, their experience and the most relevant developments from the previous year.
The purpose is continuous professional development: improving shooting and tactical capability while strengthening the way our instructors teach, coach and develop BZ Academy students.
DAY 1
- Review and refinement of current BZ Academy standards
- Individual skills assessment and development priorities
- Updates to shooting techniques and instructor practice
- Coaching, feedback and teaching methodology
- Training adapted to the attending instructor group
DAY 2
- BZ Academy instructor shooting standards test to verify current performance and consistency
- Continued technical and tactical development
- New concepts and lessons learned by the BZ Academy instructor team
- Practical development based on group needs and experience

DAY 3
- BZ Academy instructor shooting standards test to verify current performance and consistency

Before You Book
Instructor Development is a dedicated 3-day programme available only to graduates of BZ Academy Pistol Instructor or Rifle Instructor courses. It is designed to maintain and raise technical, tactical and teaching standards across the BZ Academy instructor network.
The development training itself is provided to our instructor graduates. The £500 fee is an ammunition / firearms support charge. This is NOT an all-inclusive course: participants organise their own travel, accommodation, local transport and food.

Instructor Development is run differently from our public all-inclusive courses. Participants arrange and pay for their own flights, accommodation, local transport, meals and personal logistics.
TRAVEL TO POLAND
Arrange your own travel and arrive in time to be ready for the first training session.
ACCOMMODATION
Book and pay for your own hotel or accommodation for the duration of the training.
LOCAL TRANSPORT
Arrange your own transport between the airport, accommodation and BZ Academy training facility.
RETURN FLIGHT AFTER 19:00
Training usually finishes around 16:00 on the final day. The drive to Wrocław Airport takes around 1.5 to 2 hours, so book your return flight no earlier than 19:00.

This programme is available only to graduates of BZ Academy Pistol Instructor or Rifle Instructor courses and approved BZ Academy instructors.
01Who can attend Instructor Development?
Only BZ Academy Pistol Instructor or Rifle Instructor graduates and approved members of the BZ Academy instructor network.
02Is the training itself free?
The instructor development training is provided as part of our ongoing development programme. The £500 charge is for ammunition and firearms/range support rather than tuition.
03Is this an all-inclusive course?
No. Participants arrange and pay for flights, accommodation, local transport, meals and personal logistics.
04Can I use my own firearms?
Yes, subject to the requirements for the specific event. During registration you will select whether you are using your own firearms or BZ Academy firearms.
05Will the price change if I use my own firearms?
The registration form will record your firearms option. Any price adjustment linked to firearm hire will be shown in the Event Booking checkout once that fee rule is configured.
06What will we train?
The programme can include rifle and pistol fundamentals, intermediate shooting techniques, alternative shooting positions, small unit tactics, VCQB, CQB and teaching methods.
