WHAT YOU WILL TRAIN WITH
GLOCK 17 / 19 PISTOLS
You will train with reliable Glock 17/19 pistols during the live-fire part of the course. This platform is used to build safe pistol handling, movement, use of cover and CQB-related shooting skills.
GLOCK FX / SIMUNITION
The course includes Glock FX pistols and FX marking rounds for controlled CQB simulations. This allows students to experience decision-making, distance, movement and weapon handling in a more realistic environment.
CQB TRAINING ENVIRONMENT
Students train in a dedicated CQB area designed for pistol work in confined spaces, room-clearing concepts, use of cover and home-defence related scenarios under instructor supervision.

OVERVIEW
One Man CQB Pistol is a structured 3-day close-quarters pistol training course focused on responsible home defence, safe weapon handling and practical pistol work in confined spaces.
During the first two days, students work in the CQB training area using SIRT pistols and Glock FX pistols. This allows students to develop movement, angles, room-entry concepts, use of cover and decision-making in a controlled training environment before moving to live fire.
On day three, the course moves to the shooting range for live-fire drills with Glock pistols and 9mm ammunition. Students apply the skills developed in the CQB area to practical live-fire exercises under instructor supervision.

KEY TRAINING TOPICS

Arrive One Day Before
We recommend arriving one day before the course begins, so you can check in, rest and be ready for training the next morning.
Airport Pickup
Standard pickup from Wrocław Airport is organised at around 19:00. If most students arrive earlier, we may arrange an earlier pickup and confirm it by email.
Late Arrival Support
If you arrive after the organised pickup time, you will need to travel to the hotel at your own cost. We can recommend a trusted driver at a fair price.
Return Flight After 19:00
Training usually finishes around 16:00 on the final day. The drive to Wrocław Airport takes around 1.5 to 2 hours, so book your return flight no earlier than 19:00.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Who can book the One Man CQB Home Defence course?
This is an intermediate pistol course. Students should already have safe pistol handling skills and solid shooting fundamentals before joining.
Completion of CFC Fundamentals, Tactical Pistol, Practical Pistol or equivalent training with a reputable training company is recommended.
Is this course suitable for complete beginners?
No. This course is not designed for first-time shooters. The training includes CQB concepts, confined-space movement, use of cover, room entry principles and FX scenarios, so students must already be safe and confident with a pistol.
What firearms will I train with?
You will train with Glock 17 / 19 pistols during the live-fire part of the course.
For scenario-based CQB training, the course also uses Glock FX / Simunition pistols where appropriate.
How much ammunition is included?
The course includes approximately 300 rounds of 9mm ammunition and approximately 50 rounds of 9mm FX / Simunition.
Exact ammunition use may vary depending on group progress, safety, timing and training conditions.
What equipment is provided?
BZ Academy provides firearms, ammunition, training equipment, safety gear, targets and certification as part of the all-inclusive package.
Standard range safety equipment such as eye and ear protection is included.
Can I bring my own concealed carry setup?
Yes, students may bring their own suitable holster, magazine pouches, belt and concealed carry setup.
All personal equipment must be checked by the instructors before use. Unsafe, unsuitable or poorly secured equipment may not be allowed during training.
What will we train during the course?
The course covers pistol handling in confined spaces, home defence concepts, use of cover and concealment, understanding angles, room entry principles, one-man room clearing concepts, compressed pistol positions, weapon retention and FX-based scenarios.
Is this a home defence course or a tactical CQB course?
It combines both. The course teaches CQB pistol concepts in a responsible home defence context. The focus is not fantasy tactics, but safe, structured decision-making, movement, angles, cover and close-quarters pistol skills.
What is included in the all-inclusive package?
The all-inclusive package includes airport pickup, accommodation, meals, local transport between hotel and range, firearms, ammunition, safety equipment, training equipment, certification and airport drop-off after the course.
When should I arrive in Poland?
You should arrive at Wrocław Airport one day before the course starts. Standard pickup is organised at around 19:00.

Yes. The course is delivered in English, and BZ Academy provides English-speaking support before, during and after training.
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes. Students who complete the course safely and meet the required training standard will receive a BZ Academy certificate of completion.
