A Typical
Training Day
From hotel pickup to live-fire training, meals, debrief and evening recovery.
Dry First. Live Fire Second.
Every new shooting drill is introduced step by step. Students first practise the movement, weapon handling and safety procedure dry, without ammunition. Only when the group is comfortable and the instructor is satisfied do we progress to live fire.
Hotel Pickup
Students are collected from the hotel and transferred to the BZ Academy range.
Range Arrival & Safety Briefing
The day begins with range safety rules, training objectives, equipment preparation and instructor briefing.
Morning Training Block
Structured firearms training based on the selected course. Every new shooting drill is first practised dry, without ammunition, and only then performed live-fire under instructor supervision.
Lunch Break
Lunch is provided during the training day, with time to rest, reset and prepare for the afternoon session.
Afternoon Training Block
Training continues with progressive drills, repetitions, corrections and instructor feedback. The same methodology is used throughout the day: dry practice first, live fire second, with safety and control maintained at every stage.
Debrief & Return Transfer
The training day ends with a structured debrief, equipment check and range cleanup before students are transferred back to the hotel.
Dinner At The Hotel
Dinner is organised at the hotel, giving students time to recover, socialise and prepare for the next training day.
What To Wear
For Training
Prepare for an outdoor live-fire range environment.
BZ Academy training takes place on an outdoor shooting range. Weather conditions can change, so students should check the forecast before travelling and prepare clothing suitable for rain, wind, heat or cold. Training continues in different weather conditions, so practical outdoor clothing is essential.
Absolute Minimum
Outdoor, trekking or tactical footwear, practical trousers with belt loops and a strong 40 mm belt suitable for holster mounting. Upper clothing must be tucked into the trousers or controlled so it does not interfere with drawing the pistol from the holster.
Outdoor Footwear
Outdoor, trekking or tactical footwear with good ankle support and grip. The range surface may include sand, gravel, mud or uneven ground.
Trousers & Belt
Wear practical trousers with belt loops. A strong 40 mm belt is required for mounting a pistol holster and magazine pouches.
Upper Clothing
Shirts, hoodies or jackets must not block access to the holster. Keep upper clothing tucked in or controlled around the belt line.
Weather Layers
Dress according to the forecast. Use layers in cold weather, breathable clothing in hot weather and rain protection when needed.
Spare Clothing
A spare shirt, socks and footwear can be useful, especially during wet, muddy or cold weather conditions.
Equipment Provided
BZ Academy provides hearing protection, eye protection, pistol holsters and magazine pouches for training.
Students may bring their own Glock-compatible holsters and magazine pouches if they prefer to use personal equipment. All personal gear must be checked and approved by the instructor before use.
Check The Weather Before You Travel
Our range is outdoors. Check the 7-day weather forecast for Lubań and pack accordingly.
Check 7-Day ForecastAvoid loose clothing, open footwear, sandals, shorts, jewellery or anything that can catch on equipment, block the holster or interfere with safe weapon handling.
